A global organisation specialising in mission critical solutions for various industries including space, aerospace, security, military and communications are looking to engage with an Electronics Design Engineer on a permanent basis. The company are true innovators, designing and delivering high reliability products for customers throughout the world.



Info about what the role entails


  • The Electronics Design Engineer will be responsible for the ownership of the release of products into manufacturing (new and existing electronic products)
  • Become the Subject Matter Expert for the products worked on
  • Handling systems in New Product Development (cradle to grave)
  • Electronics circuit design and layout
  • Taking schematics from the customer and producing circuit layout
  • Being the interface between manufacturing and the customer, making recommendations including obsolescence requirements
  • 50/50 analogue/digital design
  • Translating circuits into products
  • Liaising with external suppliers and internal stakeholders



Essential Requirements of the Electronics Design Engineer


  • Degree (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline
  • Electronics Design Engineering background
  • Strong electronic circuit design skills



Nice to Have Requirements of the Electronics Design Engineer


  • Electronics circuit layout experience
  • Microelectronics experience
