Recent Electrical or Electronics Engineering graduate looking for a role where you can actually get hands-on with the hardware?
We’re looking for an Electrical Engineer to join a specialist Service team supporting sophisticated electronic products.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or an experienced engineer who enjoys practical electronics, troubleshooting circuits and figuring out why things don’t work. You don’t need years of industry experience, we’re looking for strong engineering fundamentals, curiosity, problem-solving ability and a willingness to get hands-on.
You’ll work alongside experienced technicians and engineers, building your technical expertise while tackling real-world product and hardware challenges.
What you’ll be doing:
- Troubleshooting and repairing electronic equipment at circuit and component level
- Diagnosing hardware and electronic circuit failures
- Developing your skills in precision soldering, rework and component replacement
- Creating service documentation and troubleshooting procedures for new products
- Setting up and maintaining test systems, fixtures and diagnostic tools
- Investigating product failure trends and supporting root-cause analysis
- Providing technical support to service technicians
- Helping identify ways to improve repair processes, product quality and efficiency
What we’re looking for:
- A degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or a related discipline
- A good understanding of analog and digital electronics
- The ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
- A logical, methodical approach to troubleshooting and problem-solving
- Familiarity with equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters and power supplies
- An interest in soldering, electronics repair and working directly with PCBs and components
- Curiosity, attention to detail and a genuine desire to understand how things work
Graduate applications are very welcome. Experience gained through university projects, internships, personal electronics projects, labs, hobbies or other practical work can all be relevant.
If you’re the kind of engineer who would rather pick up an oscilloscope and investigate a problem than spend all day behind a desk, this could be a great place to start and develop your engineering career.
