What does a Recruitment Consultant do?

    Your Responsibilities

    Ultimately your role will be to manage the entire recruitment process from start to finish. In a nutshell, you will spend the majority of your day creating and building relationships, submitting the best candidates for the vacancies you work on and seeing the process through to offer and placement stage, whilst providing excellent customer service to both the candidate and end client at all times.

    Your Day-to-Day

    Your day will be diverse! Typical responsibilities will involve devising strategies to source unique candidates for your roles, identifying the best candidates (based on skills, communication, background and experience), establishing contact with candidates, selling the opportunity and gaining their interest, preparing their CVs and key summaries, arranging interviews, negotiating salaries and rates, managing the offer process and providing after care to check they have started and are happy in their new role! If you choose to work on the client side you will be managing client relationships, taking in and managing vacancies, meeting key stakeholders and growing accounts.
