Info about what the Engineering Manager role entails
The Engineering Manager will provide strategic direction to the engineering function, guiding the delivery of complex safety solutions within the rail depot environment. Serving as a pivotal technical authority, this role carries overarching responsibility for the integrity of project outcomes and for nurturing a culture of ongoing refinement across the organisation’s technical offerings. Collaboration with the new product development team will be key to shaping innovation pathways and sustaining the business’s long-term evolution.
Requirements of the Engineering Manager
- Strong people and relationship management skills
- Demonstrated success in leading and developing multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Strong technical knowledge of electronics
- Experience within a highly regulated or safety-critical industry would be beneficial (but not essential)
