My Client are part of a Global Group of companies operating in the Audio sector containing some of the most prestigious brands in the business. They design and manufacture professional audio equipment that has been used on the sets of Oscar-winning Hollywood sets. Equipment is ruggedized to be able to withstand some of the harshest environments on the planet.

What the Logistics & Warehouse Manager entails

  • Lead, coach, and supervise warehouse and logistics personnel while driving performance, safety, and operational excellence.
  • Manage domestic and international shipping, receiving, customs, and transportation activities, ensuring compliance with customer requirements and dangerous goods regulations (IATA, DOT, lithium-ion batteries).
  • Oversee warehouse operations, including inventory control, storage optimization, material flow, ERP transactions, and inventory accuracy through cycle counts and physical inventories.
  • Maintain accurate shipping documentation, track supplier shipments, verify supplier invoices, and coordinate customer/supplier returns (RMA).
  • Develop and improve logistics and warehouse processes, build carrier relationships, and manage freight costs to enhance efficiency and service.
  • Monitor logistics and warehouse performance metrics, support HTS classification and brokerage activities, and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements of the Logistics & Warehouse Manager

  • 10+ years of experience managing domestic and international shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations.
  • Strong knowledge of international shipping regulations, customs requirements, and dangerous goods compliance.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., Epicor, SAP) for inventory management and material transactions.
  • Proven expertise in warehouse operations, inventory control, cycle counting, and storage optimization.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing logistics and warehouse teams.
  • Continuous improvement mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills focused on operational excellence.
