We’re working with a global industrial electronics manufacturer looking for a Production Engineer to join a growing engineering team, supporting a fast-paced manufacturing operation.
This is a hands-on position focused on resolving day-to-day production issues, maintaining manufacturing documentation and ensuring production teams have the equipment and processes needed to work effectively.

Info about what the Production Engineer role entails
- Investigate and resolve day-to-day production issues.
- Provide hands-on engineering support across manufacturing.
- Maintain SOPs, work instructions and process documentation.
- Support engineering changes, production trials and validation activities.
- Assemble or modify workstations, fixtures and production equipment.
- Update technical files and manufacturing information.
- Work closely with Production, Process Engineering and Quality teams.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and manufacturing projects.
Essential Requirements of a Production Engineer:
- A degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Experience within a Production, Manufacturing or Process Engineering role.
- Experience working within a product manufacturing environment.
- A practical approach and confidence using basic hand tools.
- Experience maintaining SOPs, work instructions or production documentation.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Good computer literacy.
Desirable Requirements of a Production Engineer
- Electronics, electromechanical assembly or PCB manufacturing experience.
- Experience within a fast-paced or high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Engineering change, production trial or validation experience.
- Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement knowledge.
- Experience modifying production workstations, fixtures or equipment.
