What the Production Supervisor entails

Monday to Thursday: 6am – 4:30pm

The successful Production Supervisor will:

  • Supervise and lead a team of approximately 17 direct labour production employees.
  • Plan, coordinate and oversee daily production activities to ensure output targets and customer delivery schedules are met.
  • Monitor production performance, identify issues and implement effective solutions to minimise downtime.
  • Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching and support to technical and electro-mechanical assembly personnel.
  • Foster a positive, accountable and high-performing team environment.
  • Communicate production priorities, operational updates and performance expectations clearly across the team.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality and company procedures.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and work collaboratively with wider operational and global CI teams to implement process improvements where appropriate.
  • Maintain high standards of productivity, quality and operational efficiency.

Requirements of the Production Supervisor

  • Proven production supervision experience.
  • Strong leadership and team management capability.
  • Experience managing direct labour manufacturing teams.
  • Excellent production planning and execution skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability.
  • A solid understanding of technical manufacturing or assembly processes.
  • A commitment to delivering results while supporting and developing the production team.
