The Sales Manager – DACH entails
The Sales Manager is responsible for expanding the company’s presence across the DACH region by developing and executing sales strategies, building and managing relationships with key clients, distributors, and partners, and driving revenue growth. This position involves account management, technical consultation, quoting and order management, and market development, with a focus on the HVAC, refrigeration, and gas detection sectors. The role requires a proactive, results-oriented professional with strong communication and negotiation skills, a technical understanding of the industry, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with global colleagues. Frequent travel within North America is expected, and the position offers high autonomy, career growth opportunities, and the chance to represent innovative, industry-leading solutions.
Requirements of the Sales Manager – DACH
- Proven sales and account management experience within the HVAC/R, refrigeration, or gas detection industry.
- Track record of managing reps, agents, and distributors.
- Familiarity with refrigerant gas detection systems or related technologies.
- Ability to develop and implement a regional sales strategy to grow market share.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Customer-focused mindset, able to provide technical consultation and pre/post-sales support.
- Willingness to travel throughout DACH as needed.
