The Engineering Manager will provide strategic direction to the engineering function, guiding the delivery of complex safety solutions within the rail depot environment. Serving as a pivotal technical authority, this role carries overarching responsibility for the integrity of project outcomes and for nurturing a culture of ongoing refinement across the organisation’s technical offerings. Collaboration with the new product development team will be key to shaping innovation pathways and sustaining the business’s long-term evolution.

 

Requirements of the Engineering Manager

 

  • Proven experience within highly regulated or safety-critical industries
  • Strong people and relationship management skills
  • Demonstrated success in leading and developing multidisciplinary engineering teams
  • Strong technical knowledge of electronic systems and principles
