As the Test Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in planning, coordinating, and reporting on all product validation and testing activities. You will:
- Lead test program planning, prioritisation, and scheduling to meet project goals and deadlines.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality, and project management, to ensure testing meets standards and requirements.
- Monitor resource allocation, equipment usage, and test efficiency, implementing improvements where possible.
- Analyse test data and outcomes, supporting decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Manage and support the test team, fostering collaboration, accountability, and professional development.

Essential Requirements of a Test Operations Manager
- Proven experience managing or leading a test function or engineering team.
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies, validation processes, and engineering standards.
- Experience in automotive, aerospace, or high-tech engineering environments.
- Excellent planning, organisational, and project management skills.
- Comfortable with data analysis and reporting to support process improvements
- Pragmatic, collaborative, and adaptable approach – able to influence without being rigid.
Desirable Requirements of a Test Operations Manager
- Experience with motor control systems or electrical drives.
- Familiarity with automotive standards and compliance frameworks (ISO, IATF, ISO 26262)
- Exposure to reliability testing, or validation processes.
